About me
Passionate about driving social change and fostering sustainable development, I am a dedicated student at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, majoring in Entrepreneurial Management with a minor in Global and Community Impact. I aim to become a social entrepreneur and be active in international development, creating impactful solutions that address global challenges. Born in Germany, I have always been driven by a desire to make a difference. My professional journey began with two years of volunteer service in France, where I honed my leadership and interpersonal skills. Since September 2022, I have been working part-time at the IFES Management Office. In a short span, I have earned a reputation as a 'quick study' for my ability to quickly understand, carefully analyze, and continuously improve processes. At IFES, I have been instrumental in advancing the organization’s sustainability goals. My role involves researching, recommending, and communicating strategies for sustainability and environmental responsibility. I thrive in this dynamic, global environment where collaboration and innovation are key.
Key Highlights:
- Project Management & Sustainability: Developed and implemented comprehensive training for ISO 20121 cutting implementation costs by 75%, helped organize international corporate events, and conducted carbon footprint assessments.
- Multilingual Communication: Fluent in English, French, and German, with basic knowledge of Spanish, concentrate on eye-level communication with people from communities all around the globe.
- Voluntary Service: Socially engaged in two-year full-time voluntary service in France, represented high school community as student body president and member of regional student board, lead large-scale charity project with 6,500 participants.
- Leadership & Coordination: Supervised and trained up to 30 full-time volunteers in regional positions, demonstrating strong leadership and coordination skills.
- Presenting & Public Speaking: Held presentations in front of up to 300 listeners, participated in panels and spoke at multiple events across the globe including France, Germany, and Singapore.
